About Us

Mission Statement

The mission of CMU is to help pastors of local churches to cultivate and sustain unity within their congregations. We achieve this by inspiring and equipping men to live according to the Word of God, fostering their growth as effective disciples and disciple-makers of Christ Jesus.

To achieve true unity, CMU believes that men should:

1. Acknowledge the Need for Support
   Men must recognize that they cannot succeed alone, as emphasized in Ecclesiastes 4:10-12: "For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!  Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?"

2. Guard Against Division
   Disunity can lead to conflict and discord, as stated in 1 Corinthians 1:10: "I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment."

3. Purse Peace and Harmony
   Living in peace with one another is essential, as described in Ephesians 4:3: "Eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

4. Love One Another
   Love is the foundation of unity, as reflected in Colossians 3:12-14: "Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one other and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."

By embracing these principles, CMU seeks to foster a spirit of unity among all Brothers in Christ Jesus.
